Guide On How To Enable Administrator Password Option On Photostat Machine Or Web Connection To Change Administrator Password
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you forget the password changed by your own, it will be chargeable to reset the password to default. We are not recommending customers to reset the administrator password.
For the Older Machine series / Non I-Series Machine
How To Enable Administrator Password Option on Photostat Machine or Web Connection
**Kindly proceed to change the administrator password on the photostat machine as this changes does not affect the older machine series or non i-series models. However, if you are accessing the older machine via a web connection, you may need to enable the relevant option first. Please follow the steps below via web connection.
**Steps via Photostat Machine
STEP 1 – Select [Utility].
STEP 2 – Select [Administrator Settings].
STEP 3 – Key in the default administrator password and click [OK] button.
Default administrator password: [7801261178012611] or [1234567812345678] or [12345678] or [12341234].
STEP 4 – Click [Forward] button.
STEP 5 – Select [Security Settings].
STEP 6 – Select [Administrator Password] and proceed to change a new password.
**Steps via Web Connection
How To allow registering and changing addresses on Web Connection
STEP 1 – At the web browser, enter the ip address of the Konica Minolta. Click here for the guide on how to get the machine IP Address.
STEP 2 – Select [To Login Screen] to logout from public user, skip this step if the webpage is already on login page.
STEP 3 – Select [Administrator] and click on [Login].
STEP 4 – Key in the default administrator password and click [OK] button to login.
Default administrator password: [7801261178012611] or [1234567812345678] or [12345678] or [12341234].
**You may access to web connection via machine IP Address. Click on this to check how to get the IP Address from machine, then key in Konica Minolta Machine IP Address at web browser and log in as admin the Web Connection.
STEP 5 – Select [Security] – [PKI Settings] – [SSL Setting] and select [Admin. Mode] under the mode using SSL/TLS. After that click [OK] to save.
STEP 6 – After completed step above, the [Administrator Password Setting] option will be able to access and you may proceed to change the password.
For the Newer Machine series / I-Series Machine
How To Enable Administrator Password Option on Photostat Machine or Web Connection
STEP 1 – Select [Utility].
**You may access to web connection via machine IP Address. Click on this to check how to get the IP Address from machine, then key in Konica Minolta Machine IP Address at web browser and log in as admin the Web Connection.
STEP 2 – Select [Administrator].
STEP 3 – Key in the default administrator password and click [OK] button.
Default administrator password: [7801261178012611] or [1234567812345678] or [12345678] or [12341234].
**On Web Connection login as admin mode by key in administrator password accordingly. The next step will be same option on below to change administrator password.
STEP 4 – Select [Security].
STEP 5 – Select [PKI Settings].
STEP 6 – Select [Enable SSL Version] and select [Admin. Mode] under the mode using SSL/TLS. After that click [OK] to save.
STEP 7 – After completed step above, the [Administrator Password Setting] option will be able to access and you may proceed to change the password.
